THOMAS, Frederick
WALTERBORO - Mr. Frederick Miller Thomas, 88, of 210 Academy Road died 
Friday at a Walterboro medical center. A private memorial service will 
be held at a later date.Mr. Thomas was born in Greencastle, Indiana, a
son of the late Fred V. Thomas and Delilah C. Miller. He was a graduate
of Defaw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and was a retired computer
analyst with CDC in Atlanta, GA. He was a retired U.S. Army Sergeant, 
having served in World War II and was the husband of the late Kathe 
Irmgard Thomas.Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Karen T. and 
Randolph L. Bunton of Walterboro, three grandchildren, Carol B. Grant, 
Susan B. Haynes and Randolph L. "Randy" Bunton, Jr., five great-grands,
Heather B. Grant, Eric S. Bunton, Jami N. Bunton, Sarah C. Haynes and 
Rebecca H. Haynes and a sister, Gayle L. Reed of Fairborn, Ohio. He 
was predeceased by a sister, Madonna T. Gordon.Memorials may be made 
to Colleton County Relay for Life, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North 
Charleston, SC 29406. (Published Oct 14, 2001)
