STALEY, Bertha
SUMMERVILLE - Bertha Paul Staley, age 93, formerly of Conway, wife of 
the late W. L. Staley, Sr., died Monday, October 29, 2001 in the 
Presbyterian Home in Summerville. Mrs. Staley was born in Bucksport a 
daughter of the late Henry O'Neal and Margaret "Maggie" Davis Paul. 
She was a member of Waccamaw Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one 
son, W. Laird Staley, Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Charleston and one 
daughter, Elaine Staley Winburn Anderson of Conway; five grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral 
services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at GOLDFINCH FUNERAL HOME, 
CONWAY CHAPEL with Dr. Robert C. Wilkes and Rev. Bill Millar 
officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will
receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
