L. Staley, Sr., died Monday, October 29, 2001 in the Presbyterian Home in Summerville. Mrs. Staley was born in Bucksport a daughter of the late Henry O'Neal and Margaret "Maggie" Davis Paul. She was a member of Waccamaw Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one son, W. Laird Staley, Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Charleston and one daughter, Elaine Staley Winburn Anderson of Conway; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at GOLDFINCH FUNERAL HOME, CONWAY CHAPEL with Dr. Robert C. Wilkes and Rev. Bill Millar officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
