Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2001, at Greater St. James AME Church. Pastor Christopher Smith will officiate. Burial in the church cemetery. EUTAWVILLE COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Catherine Souter was born May 3, 1958, in Eutawville, S.C., to Frank and Clara Greene, her father, Frank, preceded her in death, Catherine was educated in New York City public schools. She graduated from Eli Whitney High School in June 1977. She attended Hunter College where she studied computer science. Catherine worked as a bond trader for many years with Dunn and Bradstreet Financial Compay. She also worked for the city of N.Y. as a social worker for the Medicaid Department. Catherine became a member of Calvary AME Church where she was a faithful member. Catherine later moved to Sumter, S.C., where she became a member of Bethel AME. In 1986 she united in holy matrimony to Mr. Paul Souter. Survivors include, her two children, Master Paul Souter, Jr., and Princess Brittany Martin Souter, both of Sumter, S.C., her loving mother, Clara Greene of Moncks Corner, S.C., her loving husband, Paul Souter, six sister, Mrs. Ella Peoples of Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. Hannah Greene of Florida, Mrs. Eugenia Chestnut of Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Vivian Thomas of Moncks Corner, Ms. Beaulah Haden of Brooklyn, N.Y.,a nd Ms. Mamie Green of Orange, N.J., four brothers, Mr. Isaac Green of Moncks Corner, S.C., Mr. O'Neal Greene of N.Y., Mr. Kelvin Greene, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mr. Frank Greene of Bronx, N.Y.
