The relatives and friends of Mrs. Ruth W. Simmons are invited to 
attend her funeral services on Wednesday, October 10, 2001, 1 p.m., at
Bethel Baptist Church, Hwy. 162, Hollywood, S.C. Interment, church 
cemetery. Mrs. Simmons is survived by her husband, Mr. Leonard Simmons,
her children, Mrs. Patricia Hayes (Nate), Ms. Roslyn Campbell, Mrs. 
Regina Sharpe, Ms. Joyce Campbell, Mr. Glenn Campbell (Sylvia), Mrs. 
Terry Williams (Jerome), and Ms. Melody Wilson, her step-children, Mr. 
Leonard Simmons, Jr. (Janine), Mr. William Simmons, Mr. Tyrone Simmons 
(Charnette), Ms. Brenda Williams, Mr. Larry Cornell, 14 grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, sisters, Ms. Norvia Miller, Ms. Ernersine Chisolm,
Ms. Anna Green, Mrs. Sadie German, her brothers, Mr. Herman Miller, 
Jr., and Mr. William "Junior" Brown, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing for Mrs. Simmons will be at the William M. Smith Memorial 
Chapel, 2 Radcliffe St., Charleston, S.C., on Tuesday, October 9, 
2001, from 2 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8
