Mr. Shenton was born August 27, 1968, in Charleston, S.C., the son of Francis Thomas Shenton and the late Ilene Murphy Shenton. Mr. Shenton was a graduate of Goose Creek High School, Catholic and ironworker for Pioneer Construction Company. Surviving are his father and step-mother, Claudia Shenton of Goose Creek; daughter, Amber Shenton of Texas; sister, Michelle Turgeon of Walterboro, S.C.; brothers, Randy Murphy of Elgin Air Force Base, Fla., Jerry Murphy of Newfoundland, Canada, and Thomas Shenton of Muskegon, Mich.
