He graduated from Middleton High School, the College of Charleston and was a graduate of MUSC College of Dental Medicine.Survivors include his wife, Kelly Mobley Schleppegrell of Charleston, SC; two sons, Grayson Keith and Baker Oldham Schleppegrell of Charleston, SC, his father, Charles August Schleppegrell, Sr. of Johns Island, SC; his sister, Rebecca Schleppegrell Schaffer and her husband Douglas Lee Schaffer of Johns Island, SC.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to West Shore Episcopal Church, Ashley Landing Mall, Charleston, S.C. 29407, or the Children's Hospital, c/o MUSC, 171 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, South Carolina 29425 or the American Red Cross Blood Services, 5290 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, S.C., 29406.
