Saladino, 66, of Goose Creek, SC, died Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at his residence. Mr. Saladino was born August 2, 1935 in Umingan, Pangasinan, Philippines to Ubaldo and Apolonia (Quitalbo) Saladino. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years. Graduated from Manuel L. Quezon University. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Helen (Rescober) Saladino of Goose Creek; two sons, Lloyd D. Saladino of Columbia, SC, Hubert B. Saladino of New York, NY and also survived by Siegfredo and Esther Padlan and Rosalia Rovillos, all of Goose Creek. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek and also on Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with a 7 p.m. Rosary Service.
