Mrs. Ross was born October 5, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Karl Axtman and the late Lucinda M. Barrow Axtman. She was a retired psychiatric aide with the State of Maine Department of Mental Health. Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Ross and Melinda Houston, both of Summerville, SC and Virginia Catruch of Naples, Maine; three sons, Karl Ross, Glynn Ross and Daniel Ross of Bridgeton, Maine.
