Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Miss Risher died Friday, October 12, 2001. Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of Chris and Wayne Lowder and John and Susan Risher. She attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a member of VFW Post #445, Bridges and Participated in the Special Olympics. Miss Risher attended the S.C. School for the Blind. Surviving are her sister, Jennifer Risher of West Columbia; maternal grandparents, Blanche and Terry Oliver of Charleston, paternal grandparents, Randy and Gloria Lowder of Charleston; great-grandparents, Carl and Alma Rourk of Charleston; a cousins and friends.
