Rhodes, Sr., died October 16, 2001, at 5:40 p.m. in a Bamberg County hospital. Born on October 7, 1918, in Ehrhardt, S.C., she was the daughter of the late George Probst Sease and the late Minnie Fender Sease. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Ehrhardt, S.C. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening and was active at her church. Funeral services will be Friday, October 19, 2001, 2 p.m., in St. James United Methodist Church, Ehrhardt, S.C. Burial in the Ehrhardt Cemetery conducted by Rev. Kathy Griffin. Survivors include, one son, Milton T. Rhodes, Jr., Bamberg, S.C.; one daughter, Elizabeth Buist, Greenwood, S.C.; two sisters, Ester Kearse, Ulmer, S.C.; Virl Bruner, Summerton, S.C.; one grandchild, Justin Buist, Greenwood, S.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday evening, October 18, 2001, at COONER FUNERAL HOME in Bamberg, S.C. Memorials may be made to St. James United Methodist Church in care of Maxie Welch, Route 1, Ehrhardt, S.C. 29081.
