Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 21, 2001, 
Elizabeth DeBruhl Rabon, widow of Reverend Matthew M. Rabon. Residence, 
Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her 
funeral services in Wando Woods Baptist Church, Wednesday morning, 
October 24, 2001 at Eleven O'clock. Interment, First Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Lugoff, SC at Four-thirty O'clock. Friends may call at Wando 
Woods Baptist Church, Tuesday evening from Six until Eight O'clock and
on Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service hour. Arrangements 
by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Mrs. Rabon was born April 
1, 1921 in Camden, SC, the daughter of Gilliam B. DeBruhl and Annis 
Martin DeBruhl. A graduate of Camden High School and the South 
Carolina State Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Rabon served along 
with her husband who pastored many churches in South Carolina and was 
member of Wando Woods Baptist Church in North Charleston.
Surviving are three sons, Matt Rabon, II of Charleston, SC, Tim and 
Sherry Rabon of Charleston, SC and Phil and Sherrie Rabon of Cayce, 
SC; one daughter, Mary R. and Ken Elligson of Snow Hill, Md.; one 
brother, Reverend Bill DeBruhl of Travelers Rest, SC, Eleven 
grandchildren and families, one great grandson, nieces, nephews and 
other family members include Patty Schaffer and Dee Novy both of 
Charleston, S.C. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to 
Wando Woods Baptist Church for Romanian Missions Fund, 4123 Dorsey 
Avenue, Charleston Heights, SC 29405. (Published Oct 23, 2001)
