POWELL, Audrey
Audrey Jean Powell, 78, of Mt. Pleasant died Friday evening, October 
19, 2001 in a local hospital. The funeral mass will be recited 11:00 
a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Christ Our King Catholic Church, 
Mt. Pleasant. Friends are invited to the visitation and wake service 
Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT.
PLEASANT CHAPEL.A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mrs. Powell was 
the daughter of George L. and Amy Dahl Carufel. She was a former 
member of the Snee Farm Garden Club and more recently was a member of 
the Activities Committee and Bridge Club at Cooper Hall. She was a 
member of Christ Our King Catholic Church.She will be lovingly missed 
by her husband of 52 years, George L. Powell, her son and 
daughter-in-law, Ned and Janice Powell of Shreveport, LA; her daughter 
Amy Wymer and grandchildren Mikalena and Georgie Wymer of Myrtle Beach;
her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Vince Bastian of Shoreview, 
MN; Ned and Ellen Powell of Hilton Head; Neil and Lou Powell of 
Allentown, PA; and Rita Wersich of Colorado Springs, CO. Many close 
friends will also mourn her loss.Memorials are suggested to Christ Our
King Catholic Church Building Fund, 1122 Russell Dr., Mt. Pleasant, SC
