"Maggie" Phillips, 78, of Hwy. 402, Moncks Corner, S.C., a former attendant at Dick's Station, died Friday afternoon in a Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday afternoon, in the Santee Circle Community Church. Interment will be in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., this Saturday, October 13, 2001. Mrs. Phillips was born August 30, 1923, in Camden, S.C., a daughter of Brooks T. Williams and Rosa Cook Williams. She was a member of the Santee Circle Community Church. She is the owner of Maggie's Bait and Tackle. Surviving are, her husband, Leo L. Phillips; one daughter, Rose Marie Hatcher of Wilmington, N.C.; four sons, C. Fulton Walton of Florence, Earl G. Walton of Patrick, Ralph Phillips of Summerville, and Danny Phillips of Columbia; two sisters, Elizabeth Lackey of Camden, and Dorothy Knotts of Winnsboro, N.C.; two brothers, Delton Williams of Wilmington, N.C., and Edward Williams of Myrtle Beach; 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
