She attended Illinois public schools, and was a graduate of Trident Technical College with a degree in Horticulture. She was an employee with LaPetite Academy of Goose Creek, SC. Surviving are two sons, Alan R. and (Elaine) Parks of Goose Creek, S.C., Jimmy and (Joyce) Parks of Greenville, S.C., two daughters; Diane Horton of Goose Creek, S.C., Robin and (Bob Le Master) of Pasadena, MD., two sisters; Sheila and (John) Sherman and Marcia Pribble all of Rantoul, IL., and six grandchildren.
