Entered into eternal rest on the evening of October 25, 2001, 
Ethel Anne Owens, wife of Marvin S. Owens, Sr. Residence, James Island,
SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin S. Owens, Sr. 
are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Monday, at 
two o'clock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL. Entombment, 
Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call Stuhr's North Area Chapel Sunday 
between five and seven o'clock.Mrs. Owens was born May 24, 1935 in 
Camden, South Carolina, the daughter of Thomas James McIntosh and 
Ethel Crews McIntosh. She was co-owner and operator of Owens Grocery 
Store.She is survived by her husband of James Island, SC; one daughter,
Gloria A. Meyer of Summerville, SC; five sons, Marvin S. "Lucky" Owens,
Jr. of North Charleston, SC, Thomas J. Owens of Moncks Corner, SC, M. 
Randy Owens of James Island, SC, Larry J. Owens of Cross, SC and Terry
G. Owens of James Island, SC; 15 grandchildren and 3
