Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the chapel of the Brice W. Herndon and Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Mire was born in Colleton County, a daughter of Mary Walker Catterton and the late Curtis M. Catterton. She was a member of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother of Walterboro are her husband, Joseph L. "Joe" Mire, a son and daughter-in-law, J. Anthony and Loretta Mire of Summerville, two brothers, Lewis Catterton and Marshall Catterton, both of Walterboro, and two grandchildren, Taylor and Kylea King of Summerville. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
