Messervy, wife of Don A. Messervy. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Don A. Messervy are invited to attend the funeral services at the graveside, Saturday, at 10:30 o'clock in St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard, Meggett, S.C. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Friday between 6 and 8 o'clock. Mrs. Messervy was born July 11, 1932, in Myers, S.C., the daughter of Henry Burnett Clark and Onez Avant Clark. She was a graduate of St. John's High School. She provided loving care through the South Carolina Foster Parent Association and the South Carolina Home Share Program. She is survived by her most loved husband of Charleston, S.C. She was a very loving, giving and devoted mother to, two daughters, Donna Messervy Clark and her husband Richard of Shelby, N.C., and Cindy Messervy Sanders and her husband Frank of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Alvin Messervy and his wife Susan S. of Holly Hill, S.C., and Craig Messervy and his wife Susan C. of Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Lottie Mae Wall of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Henry Burnett Clark, "Jr." of Johns Island, S.C.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Burnie Messervy. Memorials may be made to Lowcountry Foster Children, 844 Duck Hawk Retreat, Charleston, S.C. 29412.
