NORTH CHARLESTON -Nita McDonald McSwain, 88, died Saturday, October 
27, 2001 in Hallmark Health Center in Summerville. Graveside funeral 
services will be held Monday, October 29, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. in Elmwood 
Cemetery in Georgetown. Burial will follow under the direction of 
GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME OF GEORGETOWN.She was born August 12, 1913 in 
Georgetown County, a daughter of the late Peter Thomas Bellflower and 
Lottie Elizabeth Owens Bellflower.She was a long time resident of 
Goose Creek before moving to North Charleston in 1997. She was a 
homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.She was first married to the 
late John Chester McDonald. Surviving are one son, John C. McDonald 
of Goose Creek; one daughter, Betty M. Densler of North Charleston; 
one brother, Benny R. Bellflower of Ashville, NC; one sister, Cherry 
McKnight of Georgetown; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren
and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 
from 11 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
