(Published Oct 13, 2001) MCINTIRE, Kevin Entered into eternal rest on the evening of October 11, 2001, Chief Petty Office Kevin Richard McIntire, United States Navy (retired), husband of Joyce Elaine Whitley McIntire. Residence, Goose Creek, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Chief and Mrs. Kevin Richard McIntire are invited to attend the Memorial Services of the former in the American Legion, Post #166, Goose Creek, South Carolina, Sunday evening, October 14, 2001 at 7:00 o'clock where a Masonic Memorial Service will also be held. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Palmetto Health Hospice, 1815 Old Trolley Road, Summerville, SC, 29485. Mr. McIntire was born February 6, 1947 in Peabody, Mass. A son of Richard L. McIntire and Aileen MacMillin Kasenenko. Chief McIntire served his country for twenty years in the U.S. Navy and a View Nam veteran and worked with the Berkeley County Sheriffs Department as a Sergeant in the Detention Center. Mr. McIntire was an active member of The American Legion, Post #166, Goose Creek, SC, the forty and eight, the Fleet Reserve Association and the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #401 A.F.M. Surviving are his mother of Tucson, AZ, his wife of Goose Creek, SC, two daughters, Kellie McIntire and Kerrie Stramler both of Tucson, AZ, two sons, Adam McIntire of Goose Creek, SC, Brian McIntire of Las Vegas, Nevada, two brothers, Douglas MacMillin or Rockport, Mass, Peter Kasenenko of San Francisco, Ca. and his caretaker and sister-in-law Brenda Markielowski.
