Entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2001, Shawn McGinnis, 
residence, Johns Island, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to 
attend his funeral services on Monday, October 29, 2001 at six o'clock 
in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Family will receive friends 
immediately after the service.Mr. McGinnis was born February 10, 1957 
in Reidsville, NC, the son of Patrick Norman McGinnis and Ann Graham 
McGinnis. He was a master welder within the Nuclear Power Plant 
Industry. Shawn was an avid fisherman and shrimper.He is survived by 
his mother of Johns Island, SC; father and step-mother, Pat and Linda 
McGinnis of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother, Timothy G. McGinnis of 
Black Mountain, NC; three sisters, Sandy M. Ellett of Mt. Pleasant, 
SC, Cathy (Doll) Garvin of James Island, SC and Jayne M. Nicholas of 
Mt. Pleasant, SC; one step-sister, Kendra L. Gilbert of Charleston, 
SC; maternal grandfather, Edward Lazicki of Johns Island, SC and many 
nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 
Medical University of SC Health Science Foundation, Dept. of Pulmonary 
Medicine, Attention: Dr. Sahn, 96 Jonathan Lucas Street, Box 250623,
