He is survived by his son, Don McDonald and his wife, Tamara of Charleston, SC, six sisters, Theda Erstgard of Spencer, MA, Anna Welsh of Elsie, NB, Ouida McIntyre of Coffeeville, AL, Mabel Rush of Mobile, AL, Marlene Brock of Clanton, AL, and Faye Stephens of Grove Hill, AL, one brother, Calvin McDonald of Grove Hill, AL. Two grandchildren, Jacob Zimmerman and Rebecca Zimmerman of Charleston, SC, and one great-grandchild, Isabel Zimmerman of Charleston, SC. Memorials may be made to charity of ones choice.
