He was born in Charleston to Gordon Lee Mager, Sr., and the late Cecelia Margaret Mott Mager. Steven was a 1981 graduate of Trident Technical College, and was presently employed with Centex Home Builders, where he had recently received the Centex Homes Builder Award. Steven took much pride in his work and family. He will be best remembered as being a great father and husband. His wife, Dana Renee Mager, Andrew Garrison Mager, and Joshua Ryan Mager, all of the home, three brothers, Gordon Lee Mager, Jr., and wife Claudia of Seymour, Ind., Mark Anthony Mager of Charleston, Randy Allen Mager and wife Kathleen of Goose Creek, a brother-in-law, Andre Lyskin and wife Lana of Camarillo, Calif., sister-in-law, Lora Hucks of Charleston, his father, Gordon Lee Mager, Sr., of Charleston, father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Larna Hucks of Charlesotn, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and many friends all survive him. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
