Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2001, in the Georgetown First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial directed by the Georgetown Chapel of MCKENZIE FUNERAL HOME will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening, October 4, 2001, at the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Mr. Lambert was born in Berkeley County, a son of William B. Lambert and Doolie L. Lambert. He was a Control Room Operator for 44 years for the Georgetown Mill of International Paper Company and a member of the IP Quarter of a Century Club; attended of the Georgetown First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving in addition to his wife, Mrs. Anna White Lambert of Georgetown, are one son, Roy Lee "R.L." Lambert of Jamestown; one daughter, Jackie Ann Lambert of Georgetown; three brothers, Solon Lambert and Arthur Lambert of Georgetown, and Andrew Lambert of Jamestown; six grandchildren.
