Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Bedon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Jacksonville, FL, a daughter of the late Charles Farrell and Virginia Farrell Corn. She was the co-owner of Cut' N Style Beauty Salon and was a member of Bedon Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Wilbur I. Johnson, a daughter, Aimee Johnson of Walterboro, two sons, Kenny Johnson of Walterboro and his wife, Susan and Todd Johnson of Summerville, two grandchildren, Nicole Johnson and Courtney Johnson, a great grandchild, Amber Cromer and a brother, Ronald Bushman of Cassadaga, NY. She was predeceased by three grandchildren, Brett Strickland, Hunter Strickland and Caroline Manchester. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Colleton Relay for Life, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
