Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home. Mrs. Holt was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late John Godfrey Adams and Sarah C. Thomas Adams. She was a retired nurse and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was first married to the late Ernest Patrick and then to the late Henry Ellis Holt. Surviving are three sons, Donald E. Holt of Albemarle, North Carolina, Douglas H. Holt of Durham, North Carolina and Ernest Patrick of Las Animas, Colorado; a sister, Rebecca Koger of Round O; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Jean Patrick. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
