Healey, 63, of Johns Island and husband of Audrey Healey, died Sunday, October 28, 2001, at a local hospital. Mr. Healey was born in Osceola, Indiana. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church on James Island. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Healey of Johns Island, his daughter, Jackie H. Skinner of Johns Island; his granddaughter, Brigitte Ann Skinner of Charleston; three brothers: John, Jerry and Jody of Indiana, and a sister, Jean of Florida. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jack Richard and Steven. Jack was a gifted mechanic and was well known in the Hollywood, SC area, where he formerly worked for Too Goo Doo Farms. He was an enthusiastic pilot of his own ultralight aircraft. His many friends knew him for his eagerness to lend a helping hand whenever needed. The many people who depended on his expertise and kindness will miss him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on October 31, 2001, at 1:00 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church on Camp Road on James Island. The Healy family is being served by THE CREMATION CENTER OF CHARLESTON.
