Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2001, fChurch, Meggett, S.C. Burial will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Hollywood, S.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 4981 Chapel Road, Hollywood, S.C. 29449, or Calvary Baptist Church, 4744 Hwy. 165, Meggett, S.C. 29449. Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville, from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening. Born on August 7, 1913, in Colleton County, a daughter of the late W. Francis Grayson and Sarah Martin "Sallie" Grayson. She was a 1934 graduate of Winthrop University. She was a retired school teacher. She was past president of St. Paul's Exchange Club Auxiliary, Past Worthy Matron of Carolina Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star, Meggett, S.C., Past Member of St. Paul's Garden Club, Past President of WMU and was a Sunday School Teacher at Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Meggett, S.C., since 1926. Surviving are, four sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin M. "Eddie" and Joyce Goodman, Jr., of Wingate, N.C., Grayson A. and Jan Goodman of Spartanburg, Joe F. and Elizabeth Goodman of Charlotte, N.C., Gary L. and Brenda Goodman of Columbia; six grandsons, Edwin Mack "Mackey" and Belinda Goodman, III, of Wingate, N.C., Todd Adam Goodman of Columbia, Donald Goodman of Wingate, N.C., Michael Goodman of Charlotte, N.C., Grayson Goodman of Charleston, Matthew Goodman of Spartanburg; one granddaughter, Frances "Fran" Evelyn Goodman of Charleston; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Zachary Goodman; step-grandchildren, Jeff Slate of Jacksonville, Fla., Rich Slate of Ft.
