Entered into eternal rest Friday evening the husband of 
Lois E. Witherspoon Gibson. Residence, Ravenel, SC.The relatives and 
friends of Mr. and Mrs. Chalmer Russell "Hoot" Gibson are invited to 
attend the funeral services of the former in First Baptist Church of 
Ravenel, Monday afternoon October 22, 2001 at two o'clock. Interment, 
First Baptist Church of Ravenel Churchyard. Friends may call J. HENRY 
STUHR, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2001, between
four and nine o'clock.Mr. Gibson was a retired welder and a member of 
First Baptist Church of Ravenel. Survivors include his wife, three 
daughters, Darlene Gibson of Texas, Brenda Reinoso, and Crystal 
McGuire both of NJ; three step-sons, Thomas G. Powers of Summerville, 
SC, David Earl Powers of Moncks Corner, SC, Joseph Pritchette of 
Charleston, SC; one step-daughter, Susan E. Boulware of Johns Island, 
SC; three brothers, Jack Gibson of Miami, FL, Doug Gibson of 
Mississippi and Tommy Gibson of Texas; three sisters Gail Reed of 
Richmond, VA, Susan Ousley of Pikeville, KY and Billie Rolen of Belfry,
