Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Darlene Gibson of Texas, Brenda Reinoso, and Crystal McGuire both of NJ; three step-sons, Thomas G. Powers of Summerville, SC, David Earl Powers of Moncks Corner, SC, Joseph Pritchette of Charleston, SC; one step-daughter, Susan E. Boulware of Johns Island, SC; three brothers, Jack Gibson of Miami, FL, Doug Gibson of Mississippi and Tommy Gibson of Texas; three sisters Gail Reed of Richmond, VA, Susan Ousley of Pikeville, KY and Billie Rolen of Belfry, KY.
