FURSE, Virginia
INGLIS, FL - Mrs. Virginia R. Furse, 96, widow of the late William J. 
Furse, died Monday in Inglis, Florida after an extended illness. Mrs. 
Furse was born in Luray (Hampton County) April 16, 1905, a daughter of 
the late Jake and Elizabeth Rouse. She was a homemaker and a member of 
the Beech Branch Baptist Church in Luray. Surviving are one son, 
William J. Furse, Jr. of Inglis, Florida; one brother, Dan Rouse of 
Luray; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will 
be 11:00 a.m. Friday, graveside in the Beech Branch Cemetery near 
Luray, conducted by Rev. Phillip Latta and directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN 
FUNERAL HOME in Hampton. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Mary 
Eleanor Rouse in Luray until the hour of services Friday morning.
