Furse, 96, widow of the late William J. Furse, died Monday in Inglis, Florida after an extended illness. Mrs. Furse was born in Luray (Hampton County) April 16, 1905, a daughter of the late Jake and Elizabeth Rouse. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beech Branch Baptist Church in Luray. Surviving are one son, William J. Furse, Jr. of Inglis, Florida; one brother, Dan Rouse of Luray; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, graveside in the Beech Branch Cemetery near Luray, conducted by Rev. Phillip Latta and directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME in Hampton. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Mary Eleanor Rouse in Luray until the hour of services Friday morning.
