DAVIS, Merle
EUTAWVILLE - Mrs. Merle Hancock Davis, 80, of 201 Appaloosa Ct., 
Eutawville, died Friday in a Charleston hospital. The funeral will be 
3 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2001 in the First Baptist Church, 
Eutawville with the Rev. Mike Thompson and Rev. John Scott 
officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Friends 
may call at AVINGER FUNERAL HOME, Holly Hill, from 6 to 8 p.m. this 
Saturday, October 20, 2001. Mrs. Davis was born in Starr, GA, a 
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest P. Livingston. She was a very 
active member of the First Baptist Church, Eutawville and was first 
married to the late Hoyle H. Hancock. Surviving are her husband, John 
Frank Davis of the home; daughter, Mrs. Lynn Kaskin of Eutawville; 
son, Keith H. Hancock of Hartsville; three grandchildren; and one 
great-grandson. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 
Eutawville, Building Fund, P.O. Box 484, Eutawville, SC 29048.
