Interment will be in Biggin Cemetery. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2001. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Biggin Cemetery Association.Mr. Cooper was born Sept. 11, 1922, in Mesa, Arizona, a son of Orson Prince Cooper and Sybil Cora Newell Cooper. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, the Merchant Marines, and the Royal Air Force during W.W.II. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a Sealer at the Columbia, SC, Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a volunteer at the Kershaw County Medical Center. He formerly attended Arizona State University.Surviving are his wife. Lillie Branham Martin Cooper; three daughters, Tookie C. Harrop and Kim J. Cooper both of Moncks Corner, and Coral C. Werner of Provo, Utah; one sister, Eleanor C. McIntyre of Gilbert, Arizona; one brother, Jesse F. Cooper of Mesa, Arizona; and twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
