Coaxum of N. Charleston, a long time employee of Morris Sokol 
Furniture Co. He is the beloved father of Ms. Carla Z. Coaxum and Mrs. 
Celestine Washington; husband of Mrs. Mary R. Coaxum; devoted friend 
of Ms. Betty Brisbane; son of Dea. Christopher Coaxum, Sr.; brother 
of Mr. Leroy Coaxum, Mr. Christopher Coaxum, Jr. (Cassandra), Mrs. 
Delores Lawrence (Robert), Mrs. Orabell Williams (Kenneth), Mr. Oscar 
Coaxum (Beaulah), Mr. Kenneth Coaxum (Gwendolyn), and Mrs. Denise 
Pope; nephew of Mr. Jerry Coaxum (Albertha) and Mr. Willie Wright 
(Louise). Friends may visit at 101-B, N. Romney St., and at the 
residence of Dea. Coaxum, 408 Willow Ct. (N. Charleston). Funeral 
arrangements will be announce by DOROTHY'S HOME FOR FUNERALS.

COAXUM, James
The relatives and friends of Mr. James A. Coaxum of N. Charleston are 
invited to attend his funeral service, 12 noon, Thursday, October 18, 
2001, in Calvary Baptist Church, 387 Sumter St., Rev. Charles K. 
Cuthbert, Pastor. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
Friends may visit Wednesday, 3 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. 
Visitation with the family will be 7 to 8 p.m. Mr. Coaxum is survived 
by his daughters, Ms. Carla Z. Coaxum and Mrs. Celestine Washington; 
nine grandchildren; wife, Mrs. Mary R. Coaxum; devoted friend, Ms. 
Betty Brisbane; father, Dea. Christopher Coaxum, Sr.; brothers and 
sisters, Mr. Leroy Coaxum, Mr. Christopher Coaxum, Jr. (Cassandra), 
Mrs. Delores Lawrence (Robert), Mrs. Orabell Williams (Kenneth), Mr. 
Oscar Coaxum (Beaulah), Mr. Kenneth Coaxum (Gwendolyn) and Mrs. Denise
