Charleston are invited to attend his funeral service, 12 noon, Thursday, October 18, 2001, in Calvary Baptist Church, 387 Sumter St., Rev. Charles K. Cuthbert, Pastor. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit Wednesday, 3 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation with the family will be 7 to 8 p.m. Mr. Coaxum is survived by his daughters, Ms. Carla Z. Coaxum and Mrs. Celestine Washington; nine grandchildren; wife, Mrs. Mary R.
