(Published Oct 4, 2001) CASSELMAN, Andrew Andrew James Casselman, 89, widower of Lila Orena Moore Casselman, died Wednesday, October 3, 2001, at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be 2 PM Saturday, October 6, 2001, in the Bethel Cemetery near Andrews directed by the GEORGETOWN CHAPEL OF MCKENZIE FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be 7-9 Friday evening, October 5, 2001, at the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Mr. Casselman was born January 8, 1912, in Williamsburg County, a son of Benjamin "Benny" Casselman and Alice Freeman Casselman. He was an employee of the Pulp Mill Division of the Georgetown Mill of International Paper Company; a Local 357 Paperworker Union member, a IP Quarter Century Club member; a member of the Sampit Hunting Club; and attended the Georgetown First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are three sons, Willard "Bill" Casselman and Robert Casselman both of Andrews, Olin Lee Casselman of Spartanburg; two daughters, Barbara Wendell of Georgetown and Betty Jo Behler of Elizabethtown, NC; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
