KINGSTREE - Elizabeth Mixon Brockington died Sunday, October 14, 2001, at her residence after an illness. Mrs. Brockington was born in Sumter, S.C., a daughter of the late Oscar and Betty Guerry Mixon. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Columbia College, taking business courses and choir. She was a secretary for many years, pianist for Millwood United Methodist Church for many years, a member of Three Rivers Society and a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church, where she was very active in the Kindergarten class. Surviving is her husband, John David Brockington of Kingstree. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2001, in the Kingstree United Methodist Church with burial in the Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at the residence, 310 Singleton Ave., Kingstree, S.C. Memorials may be made to Kingstree United Methodist Church, 510 N.
