A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Bonneau. Final Farewell and Commendation will be held at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church Cemetery, St. Stephen. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. this Wednesday evening. Mrs. Barry was born September 23, 1910, in Moncks Corner, S.C., a daughter of James W. Mims and Hattie Ballentine Mims. She along with her husband owned and operated Barry's Department Store in St. Stephen. She is the widow of James J. Barry, Sr. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Bonneau. She attended Winthrop College. Surviving are, one daughter, Kay B. Veach of Goose Creek; one son, James J. Barry, Jr., of Pinopolis; one brother, Dr. Harry W. Mims of Charleston; four grandchildren, Katherine Barry, Charlotte Barry, Jamie Barry, and Hank Veach; and her caregivers, LaQuetta White, Rachel Brown, Louise Dingle, and Leola Haigler.
