Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 11, 2001, Grace 
Tigue Benke, wife of Robert Anthony Benke, Jr. Residence, Charleston, 
S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Benke, Jr., 
are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter in First 
Baptist Church of Johns Island, Sunday afternoon, October 14, 2001, 
at 3 o'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 
at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday evening from 6 
until 8 o'clock. Mrs. Benke was born in Detroit, Mich., the daughter 
of Robert Earl Tigue and Aliene Maupin Tigue. She was a member of 
First Baptist Church of Johns Island. Surviving are her husband of 
Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Michael Owen Benke and Laura, Robert David 
Benke and Lisa, all of Charleston, S.C,; five grandchidlren, Gretta 
Stanelle, Susan Irgin, David Benke, Galen Benke, all of Charleston, 
S.C., and Mathew Benke of Idaho; one great-grandson, Aron Irvin of 
Charleston, S.C. (Published Oct 12, 2001)
