The funeral service will be 3:00 o'clock Sunday in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, Dorchester Rd., North Charleston. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening (Saturday) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Baxley was born in Charleston, SC the daughter of James E. and Eloise Hill Brinson. A widow of the late Charles A. Baxley, Sr., she attended Ashley River Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah B. Smoak of Charleston; Diane B. Dyer of Panama City, FL; Nancy B. Rorie of Panama, Oklahoma; and Carolyn B. Fletcher of Raleigh, NC; her son, Charles A. Baxley, Jr., of Summerville. Her sisters, Carolyn Conlon of North Charleston, Louise Strickland of Charleston, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
