Pleasant on the afternoon of Thursday, November 1, 2001. The memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., today (Saturday), in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL.Mr. Brinke was born October 10, 1916, in Grossrade, Germany, the son of Albert Paul and Pauline Reimann Brinke. He was a retired heating and air conditioning contractor.Mr. Brinke is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Masur Brinke, his sons and daughters-in-law, Harald P. and Kathy Brinke of Aiken and Hans J.H. and Jimmie Brinke of Jefferson City, Tenn. Also surviving are his brother, Gerhard Brinke of Elizabeth, Pa., six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
