St. Marys, Georgia- Mr. William ``Bill'' McCants Workman Sr., 84, of 113 Greyfield Dr., St. 
Marys, Ga., formerly of Holly Hill, SC, died Saturday at his residence. The funeral will be 
at 11 AM Monday, May 21, 2001 in the Hopewell UMC, Joanna, SC. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery. Friends may call at the church after 10 AM Monday. Mr. Workman was born in Clinton, 
SC a son of the late John Floyd Workman and Mary Bonds Workman. He was a Army Air Corps veteran 
of World War II and was retired from Carolina Giant Cement Company, Harleyville, SC, and he was 
a member of Holly Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean 
Musselman of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son William M. Workman, Jr. of St. Marys, Ga; step-son, 
Barry Wilson Breland of Boone, NC; sister, Mrs. Mary W. Shuler of Holly Hill, SC; 5 
grandchildren; and a great grandson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeast Georgia, 
333 S. Ashley St., Kingsland,Ga. 31548.
