HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, on Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at eleven o'clock. Friends may call at STUHR'S DOWNTOWN CHAPEL on Tuesday, May 29, 2001, between six and eight o'clock. Mr. Svenningsen was born on August 3, 1928 in Staten Island, New York, the son of Torjus Svenningsen and Gerda Hille Svenningsen. He was a retired Salesman with Bay Beverage Distributors and Assistant Manager with Piggly Wiggly Carolina. Mr. Svenningsen was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of James Island, South Carolina, one daughter, Karen Rapchick of James Island, one son, James Svenningsen of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, two brothers, Robert Svenningsen of Brick, New Jersey and Clarence Svenningsen of Summerville, New Jersey, one sister, Doris Skarsten of New Jersey and six grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
