245 St. Phillip St., 1 p.m., Charleston, S.C., Rev. Kenneth Edmondson, pastor. Interment, 
Monrovia Cemetery. Mr. Bailey is survived by his children, Ms. Barbara Marie Bailey, Mrs. 
Alicia B. Daniels (Robert), Mr. William Elijah Bailey, Jr. (Evelyn), Mr. Anthony Bailey and Ms. 
Annetta Bailey, his sisters and brothers, Mrs. Mary B. Taylor, Mr. Melvin Bailey (Nora), Mr. 
Frances Bailey (Annabell), Mrs. Catherine M. Washington, and Mrs. Mildred Gibbs (Solomon), 
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Viewing 
for Mr. Bailey will be at the WILLIAM M. SMITH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2 Radcliffe St., Charleston, S.C.
, on Friday, May 18, 2001, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., and at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. The family
