Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at Poplar Hill Christian Church, Cross, SC. Rev. Isaac Gourdine officiating. Interment will be in Church Cemetery. Arrangements by EUTAWVILLE COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME. Mrs. Virginia Ravenell Gousby, the daughter of the late Walter Jones and the late Rosa Lee Jones, was born February 28, 1928 in Berkeley County, SC. She attended the Public schools of Berkeley County. She was a member of Poplar Hill Christian Church where she served on the Usher Board and the Senior Choir. Survivors are: her husband, John P. Gousby of the home; her children, Arabell Gaddist, Albert Ravenell, Jr., Allen Ravenell, Generis Dennis, Linda Mae Ravenell all of Cross, SC, Shirley Spann of Brooklyn, NY, Sylvia Williams of Ridgeville, SC, Mae Frances Taylor of Huger, SC, Naomi Sellers and Norman J.
