Perry, 82 NEWBERRY — The funeral for Mr. Thomas B. Perry of 2242 Adelaide St. will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Bethany United Methodist Church in Saluda County. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Mr. Perry, 82, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born in Saluda County, he was the son of the late James H. “Jim” and Lucy Perry. He was a retail convenience store owner and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ollie Morris Perry of Newberry; a daughter, Lucy P. Moates of Newberry; four sons, Gerald T. Perry of Newberry, Robert S. Perry of West Columbia, James V. Perry of Chester and Danny L. Perry of Lynchburg, Va.; three sisters, Jonelle P. Rinehart and Henrietta P. Shealy, both of Newberry, and Betty R. Epting of Florence; a brother, James D. Perry of Newberry; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn P. Riley, and a grandson, Michael Perry.
