Mountain Rest - Grover Edward Snider, 78, of 1084 Simpson Road 
Jamesville, NC. died Friday, May 25, 2001 at Washington County Hospital
in Plymouth, NC.  A native of Oconee County, he was a retired employee 
of Weyerhaeser, Inc, and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.  He 
was the widower of Willia May Gaylor Snider, and the son of the late 
Novie Greene and Lela Bottoms Snider.  Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie 
Dunbar of Patego, NC; sisters; Mattie Hooper of Mountain Rest, Eula 
Hughes of Green Mountain, Maude Snider of Clayton, GA Hazel Webb of 
Windsor, NC, and Rose Wood of Oakwood, GA.; and two grandchildren.  
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, 
Roy Snider; and a sister Ruby Webb.  Graveside services were at 3 p.m. 
Monday at the Snider Cemetery in Mountain Rest.  Davenport Funeral Home
