She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant, S.C. Surviving are a daughter, Sara Morrison Lofton of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., three grandchildren, Alexander Lucas Lofton, Jr., of Sullivan's Island, S.C., Marianne Lofton Allen of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Catherine Lofton Day of Brier, Wash., and seven great grandchildren, Alexander Lucas Lofton, III, Allison Leigh Allen, Alexis Catherine Allen, and Matthew Lucas Allen of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Sara Louise Lofton of Sullivan's Island, S.C., and Robert Lofton Day and Sara Elizabeth Day of Brier, Wash.
