Sara Brock Morrison, widow of Summie Calvin Morrison of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., died Wednesday, 
May 16, 2001, in a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held in Mount Pleasant 
Memorial Gardens at a later date. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. 
Mrs. Morrison was born in Jefferson, Ga., on October 12, 1905, a daughter of the late Dr. 
Charles Oliver Brock and Lucretia Dowdy Brock. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of 
Mount Pleasant, S.C. Surviving are a daughter, Sara Morrison Lofton of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., 
three grandchildren, Alexander Lucas Lofton, Jr., of Sullivan's Island, S.C., Marianne Lofton 
Allen of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Catherine Lofton Day of Brier, Wash., and seven great 
grandchildren, Alexander Lucas Lofton, III, Allison Leigh Allen, Alexis Catherine Allen, and 
Matthew Lucas Allen of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Sara Louise Lofton of Sullivan's Island, S.C., 
and Robert Lofton Day and Sara Elizabeth Day of Brier, Wash. Memorials may be made to the First
Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant, 681 McCants Drive, Mount Pleasant, S.C. 29464. A memorial
