J.A. McFarlan, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Washington Funeral Home in charge. Ms. Caldwell died Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. She was 38. Born on Dec. 8, 1962 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of Mrs. Viola Caldwell Maloney of Great Falls and Mr. Edward Dooley of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Lewis Caldwell. Ms. Caldwell was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and attended Great Falls High School. Survivors, in addition to her parents, are a daughter, Ms. Preezis “Cookie” Caldwell of Great Falls; a son, Danzell Caldwell of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Angela Strong of Great Falls and Mrs. Bessie C. Young of Blackstock; four brothers, Eric Sanders, Willie Caldwell and Tommy C.
