Wallace, died May 27, 2001, at her residence. She was born in Rock Hill, S.C., the daughter of the late Rev. William A. Huey and Olga C. Huey. A lifelong resident of Spartanburg, she was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent, where she was Directress of the Altar Guild for many years and co-chairman of EpiscoPals. She was a member of the Battle of Cowpens Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, past Chairman of the Spartanburg Chapter of the Colonial Dames of America, and a member of the Assembly. She was a graduate of Coker College and the University of South Carolina, where she was May Queen her senior year. She was a founding member of Kappa Delta sorority at USC, and its first president. She is survived by two sons, John A. Wallace, Jr., of Charleston, and Wilson L. Lynch, M.D., of Port Arthur, Texas, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 o'clock, Wednesday, May 30, 2001, in the Episcopal Church of the Advent, Spartanburg, S.C., conducted by the Very Reverend William McKeachie, Dean of South Carolina. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends of the family are invited to visit immediately following the burial at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Browne, 1061 Otis Blvd., Spartanburg, S.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Advent Foundation, 141 Advent St., Spartanburg, S.C. 29302, according to J.
