Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2001, in the chapel of the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Cemetery. Ms. Wassing was born September 12, 1969, in Waycross, Ga., and was the daughter of Charles Alfred Lee and Barbara McCarthy Hughes. She was employed in the accounting department of Rockford Manufacturing in Walterboro. She attended North Walterboro Baptist Church. Surviving are her mother and step-father, Barbara and Ted Hughes of Walterboro, and her father, Charles Alfred Lee of Walterboro; one daughter, Mara Alexandria Wassing of Walterboro; one sister, Candace Ann Lee of Walterboro; one step-brother, Wayne Hughes of Lexington, S.C.; one step-sister, Marsha Bottomley, of Walterboro; two grandmothers, Pinkie Lee of Waycross, Ga., and Bonnie McEleveen of Brooklet, Ga. The family will receive friends Monday evening, from 6 until 8 p.m., at BRICE W.
