Mrs. Margie B. Scott, 74
ROCK HILL – The funeral for Mrs. Margie B. Scott of 3526 Mount Holly Road, Edgemoor, will be 
conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Heath Memorial United Methodist Church with Bass Funeral 
Home in charge. Mrs. Scott, 74, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at her home. A native of Edgemoor, 
Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Thomas Jennings and Tessie McCorkle Bailey. She was 
retired from Springs Industries and was a member of the Richburg Order of the Eastern Star. 
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Scott; a daughter, Jennifer Edwards of Edgemoor; a 
brother, Larry Bailey of King, N.C. ; a sister, Margaret Ferguson of Dover, FL; three 
grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 
Heath Memorial United Methodist Church Van Fund, P.O. Box 134, Lando, S.C. 29724. Friends or 
family wishing to send notes or letters via e-mail may send them to Bass Funeral Home at 
tjd@cetlink.net. These will be forwarded to the family.
