Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the Chapel of the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Himes was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late B.R. Ulmer, Sr., and Mary Padgett Ulmer. She was a member of Living Word Church, and was first married to the late D.W. Pool, then to the late Carter Estes, and was the widow of the late William Himes. Surviving are a son, Don L. Pool of Walterboro, three daughters, Margie Pool Gardner of Columbia, Mary Estes Smith of Beaufort, and Martha Estes Phillips of Walterboro, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles A. Pool.
